Regaine is best for men:

• Aged 18–49 years
• With early-stage hair thinning at the crown
• With a family history of hair loss
• Who still have some hair present on the scalp

It’s not suitable for men with total baldness or large areas of loss.

What is Regaine® (Minoxidil 5%)?
Regaine® for Men Extra Strength Foam is a pharmacy-strength medicine used to treat hereditary hair loss in men aged 18–49. It contains 5% w/w minoxidil, a clinically proven ingredient that helps stop hair loss and regrow hair. Regaine is the first and only topical treatment licensed for male pattern baldness in the UK.

Minoxidil works by increasing blood flow to the scalp, helping revive shrunken hair follicles. It stimulates the follicles to move from the resting phase into the growth phase, which results in thicker, longer-lasting hair. You may see initial hair growth after 8 weeks, with full effects usually seen after 16 weeks of consistent, twice-daily application.

• Apply half a capful (1g) to a dry scalp twice daily (morning and evening)
• Use fingertips to gently massage foam into affected areas
• Wash hands thoroughly after use
• Avoid applying to broken or irritated skin
• Do not exceed 2g per day
• Consistency is key – results rely on ongoing use

If you see no improvement after 16 weeks, stop use and speak to your pharmacist or GP.
