Foundayo® is the brand name for orforglipron, made by Eli Lilly. It is a GLP-1 medicine in the same family as Mounjaro® and Wegovy®, but it is swallowed once a day with or without food - there are no food or water restrictions and no set time of day.

The 11.1% figure is the average weight lost on the 17.2 mg dose over 72 weeks in the ATTAIN-1 trial, compared with 2.1% for people taking a dummy tablet. About 1 in 2 people on that dose (51.5%) lost 15% or more. These are trial averages achieved alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. Individual results vary, and a small number of people do not respond.
